At The Healing Studio movement is part of our journey of consciousness and health. It is not an exercise class, but a practice with the body to encourage awareness and understanding of the self. Each teacher at The Healing Studio is a healer, offering their gifts from the unique place from within themselves. Choose a class based on the times that work but also based on the connection you feel with the instructor.

5:30 - 6:30 pm - Kaiut Yoga with Laura Inbody - $12 in advance, $15 drop-in.
Every other WEdnesday
6 - 7:30 pm - Candlelight Yin and Yoga Nidra with Courtney Donovan - $20 in advance, $25 drop-in.
9:30-10:30 am - Kaiut Yoga with Laura Inbody - $12 in advance, $15 drop-in.
Kaiut Yoga is an inclusive form of yoga meant to unwind accumulated aches and pains. From the Kaiut Yoga International website, “Unlike most yoga that stretches muscles in extraordinary ways, Kaiut Yoga works from the joints. As such, it has a dramatic impact in countering the harmful effects of modern living - where most of us sit most of the day - as well as the harmful impact to our bodies of consistent movement patterns such as frequent running or cycling, playing a certain sport for years, or our compensating behaviors for old sports or other injuries.” Kaiut is primarily done on the floor, holding postures for longer periods of time bringing circulation to stagnant areas of the body. The practice is “simple, but certainly not easy.”
