The Pull to the Truth

What keeps us going? What makes us press on even when we can't possibly find the will to do so? It is in our makeup to survive and thrive. We are born to find our inner truth and resilience. Most of us are driven to ask the questions about why and how. We are motivated by curiousity and unity.

What is the truth?

Well there is a whole wikipedia page that will tell you there is never a simple answer to anything (yet there is). Dictionary.com has five meanings for truth. What a complicated answer we seek.

Now more than ever, reality is being altered, perceptions are being manipulated, and it is hard to know what’s what. The information and technology age has overwhelmed our senses and driven us deeper into the rabbit hole. We are falling hard into the next age. It is time to collectively “Wake up” and come into a new relationship with your intuition. There you will find the truth.

Your truth is only yours

To me, we all have a pull to our own truth. A need to identify for ourselves what is and is not for us. We are always being called back to our higher, unified alignment. When we are ready to do it ourselves, your intuition guides you back.

As children, we start off looking at others for the truth but quickly begin to notice that there is a difference between our truth and those around us. It may cause us to rebel, act out, or conform to a way that isn't our true nature.

Where do we find our true nature?

How do we even find what is our true nature? We have been guided so far away from ourselves, it feels like it will take lifetimes to come back. But the pull to the truth exists in each and every one of us. The desire to see your life’s purpose and existence for what it really is, is right under your nose.

However, the answer is only inside yourself because the truth for each of us is different. You aren’t going to find that truth through the eyes of another. You may see yourself mirrored back to you, through your interactions with the world. But how you see that mirror is unique too.

Take time to listen to yourself. Meditate, journal, sing in the shower. Do whatever makes you feel alive and energized. There you will find you and your truth. Request help from your unseen helpers if you would like. Your guides are there, witnessing you learning to witness yourself.

The answers are endless

“Actual” is defined as existing now, existence is the continuance in being. So actually exist. Be present and continue to be you. You are the universe, unpacking itself into awareness. You are the truth unfolding.

Being in the now = the truth. So why are we seeking the truth outside the now as if there is an end to this seeking? The truth is now, here with us at all times. So it turns out the pull to the truth is a pull to the present moment.

So the trick to this game of finding the truth…

Be present and you will find the truth you seek.

A personal tale of struggling to be present.
