Kids and Chakras
Why kids would benefit from knowing about chakras
There are different theories and presentations on what a chakra is, where it lies in the body and how they all work. The way I am presenting it here, is the way I see it.
Giving children tools on how to interpret their experience in a body, helps empower them to make decisions. They learn to listen to themselves and direct their energy in a conscious way that will allow them to settle into themselves and their authentic power.
I remember first learning the charkas and thinking "So that is what I am seeing... I wish I knew this since I was a kid. I could have avoided a lot of struggle!"
Kids pick up on this stuff quickly, because their mind is not hardened into "what you see is what there is" mentality. But if the adults around them don't know how to lead them, it can cause a confusing in what they are picking up and what is being validated as real. So learning this information will help you validate what they are learning and picking up on.
Chakras in kid's speak
Kids develop chakras at different stages of life. Not all of these will be intact until later, but it is good to get the conversation going. It is also a good thing for you to notice in your child where they are at and how you can help them refine their sense of self.
Activating the chakra
As you notice something might be off, all you have to do is ask your child to focus on the part of the body identified and the color. This will be all it takes to invite the system to balance itself. The body wants to be balanced, all you have to do is choose to notice it as such.
Your role as a parent
All you have to do is listen. As your children learn about themselves in the world, be willing to see things through their eyes. In regards to their energy, don't tell them the way you see it is the only way to see it. Listen to how they see it and together you can interpret what they are experiencing together through your information and theirs.
