Separation and Connection

Separation and connection are two fundamental aspects of human experience. We are separate individuals with our own unique thoughts, feelings, and set of experiences. Yet we create the reality of who we are as individuals through the eyes of others. Our lives are intertwined with the lives of others, and our actions have a ripple effect on the world around us and how we see ourselves in it.

It isn’t worth suffering over

The illusion of separation can be a source of conflict and suffering. When we see ourselves as separate from others, we may feel the need to compete with them, judge them, or even harm them. The focus on this separation can make everything seem more dramatic.

The truth is — we are all connected but how you connect is unique to you. So, when you share that truth through your unique actions and communications, the world expands. When you honor your separate and unique self you can begin to act with compassion and understanding towards others.

The separation working to wholeness

We are divinely working together to learn, grow, and understand ourselves as co-creators with the universe. When we give permission to our separation, we also give ourselves permission to connect to each other in that separation. We have space for each other’s diverse view and we use it to understand ourselves better.

Think of every experience as an opportunity to see through your own lens the unique experiences of others. This method of mindfulness and connection is expansive! As you expand, you open up the possibilities of manifesting a different world than there ever was before.

Time to Shift it

Contemplate the idea that you are a separate being from everyone else around you. Your ideas and perceptions are all your own, shared by no one. Then flip it and contemplate all the ways you are connected to others and how others impact how you experience yourself.

Now ask yourself this, are there any adjustments you would like to make to this relationship with your idea of separation? Your beliefs are the roots of your manifestation space. Your relationship with your unique, separate self is the baseline from where you start all relationships.

As you consider these ideas, you may find that your perspective on separation and connection begins to shift. You may come to see that we are all part of something much larger than ourselves. You may also come to see that you are an important part how all things manifest around you.

Go be amazing!
