Mirrors of our Inner Truth - What you see is what you are.

For the most part people don’t see you, they see their idea of you, through their own filters of what they are. It is important to remember this when taking feedback from other’s or allowing other people to be the directors of your inner story.

On the flip side, it is also important for you to remember you do it too. Take ownership of your projections as your own inner truth and you have a whole new way of working with subconscious mind. Working with the subconscious mind, helps you see how your reality is being shaped by beliefs that you have, that you don’t even know you are manifesting from.

Perspective - Can you change yours?

The law of attraction talks about the fact that what is in your life is what you have attracted into your life by magnetizing yourself to it. All other things are not in match with your vibration. But how do you get in alignment with that vibration is the big question of having more of what you want out of life.  The question becomes "How?!"

Taking Responsibility Without Beating Yourself up

Our thoughts are our magic, our intentions are spells cast to make them happen. Everything around you is something you have created. Good or bad...no exceptions. The key is to start taking responsibility for what you have created. Own it, use it for your highest good and the highest good of the planet...see what happens next.

The downside of knowing this is people often beat themselves up for what they are creating. They shame themselves into things instead of embracing the truth about the law of attraction. Shaming uses the law of attraction's power in a way that feels heavy with responsibility and actually blocks desires and manifestations.

Our unconscious mantra creating our realities

An unconscious mantra is the things we say out loud or in our head to ourselves without even paying attention to what we are saying that works as an incantation or prayer to the universe. In other words the announcements we make out loud that bring more of the same into our lives. How do we identify these mantras and change them?

Stay on the Train of Intention

pirates

I love my job! The conversations I have with the unseen helpers in our lives, always excites me. I am motivated by inspirations, intentions to help and the improvements I see in others. I am not motivated by the concept of more, torturing myself to perform unattainable goals, but ushering myself into doing even more of what I love. How are you motivating yourself to get to your next level? How are you monitoring your progress on that goal? Here is a fun way to think of setting intentions that doesn't require struggle and stress.

Think of your desire for an outcome to be like that purchase of a train ticket to that outcome. For example, you want to find a job. You buy this ticket and get on the train of that intention. You trust that as you sit down on this train you are getting to your desired outcome. This doesn't mean you do nothing while on this train. But what it does mean is you have to stay on the train. Don't look out the window to see if you are on the right track, look out the window knowing you are and you are enjoying the journey. Don't stop the train and try to go somewhere else midway because you aren't sure you will get there, keep steady on your intention.  Know that you are on the right track if you are remaining loving, positive and in alignment with yourself and your intentions.

You might want to respond "Well when you buy a train ticket you know where you are going and that you will for sure get there. How do I know I will get there? Every time I look for a sign that I am getting there, I don't see it."

Here is the response, "You can't buy a train ticket from California to Kansas and expect to see Kansas every time you look out the window at the track. The landscape changes frequently as you travel to your intended destination."

We put out our intentions for things to happen, not realizing several landscape changes have to happen first to let that change take place. We get fearful as the changes happen, we doubt, we fret and we get impatient. All of this gets in the way of us allowing things to happen and flow in as we have requested.

Insightful Inspiration

What track of intention are you on? Are you watching the landscape change and allowing it to morph into the intention you have already set or are you trying to control it by trying to see too far ahead? If you have set an intentional destination for yourself get on that train and trust it will take you there. Let yourself notice your own barriers to your travels and gently maneuver around them allowing your life to make room for this intention you have set. A little patience might help here too. :)

Are you the one with all the answers?

Doing this work has given me a very clear sense of how much I am addicted to people pleasing. Oh man do I want to make people happy, almost to a fault. However I have also learned through this work that I can not control the information that is being given just to make you happy or tell you what you want to hear. I can give you the positive spin of things, which is the optimistic nature of your guides. But I can't tell you the things you want to hear and the answers you want to have just because you want them. Often time the answer is hidden from view. Just for the sake of the journey. The journey is yours to have and if you already have the map, you may not take all the paths you were meant to. So the truth is kept from you, to help you grow and learn. Some times people feel tricked by this stance. But your guides are just your guides. They don't have all the answers either, nor should they. This is your life to lead. Your answers to figure out.

So when people are seeking answers and not guidance, I am not the help you are looking for. But when you realize that you are always on the right path, it is just helpful to have a flashlight, then you working with your guides and your energy to find YOUR answers. I can help with that!

Insightful Inspiration

If you are looking for someone or something to give you the answers you seek, you are on a fruitless journey. However, if you are willing to see yourself as the answer to all that you want and are, you are on the right track. Others are brought into your life to guide you and help shed light on things, but it is never good for you to give them the power to have your answers. You will get false information and find yourself following thoughts and ideas that are not your own, which never leads you to your happiness. Use others in your life to gain perspective, but seek the truth within yourself in the end.

My Book Is Here!

I have been so busy that I haven't had time to blog about my news!  I have published a book! Insightful Inspirations, conversation starters with your authentic self. http://bookstore.balboapress.com/Products/SKU-000531426/Insightful-Inspirations.aspx This book is a compilation of blogs, work with others and just general wisdom I have recieved. It is designed to be held in your hand, holding a question in your mind and then open it up to some perspective. I hope to have a card deck that goes with it one day. The artist who did my cover, Stephanie Ingraham with Siyo, will be doing that artwork.

I have to admit that I was pretty nervous to put this book out. Even though I have had it written for over two years, there is just so much exposure with putting this out. I have already found one typo, despite having several proofs and am not sure I like how it printed with the questions on the back of the page. But the gift of this experience is that it is a perfect healing opportunity for my perfection issues! It doesn't have to be perfect to be wonderful. That is the amazing gift I will find here, how to just trust and accept my imperfections.

On the flip side, I am even more worried it will do well! :) Fear of success I guess. But part of me worries that I won't have time and won't appreciate the exposure. Again, another amazing opportunity to face my fears and heal. I am catching myself saying "It is just a little book" or "Yeah, no big deal". Wow, who knew I would have such a hard time embracing my accomplishment! I am releasing this issue as well and look forward to whatever this brings.

I have been using the book on my own since I received it and I have to say, I love having it in a format I can hold in my hand. It is so much fun to use! (If I do say so myself.) So I hope you all will take a moment to check it out and find as much value out of it as I do.

Insightful Inspiration

What have you delayed putting out into the world because you are afraid of having it fail? Or maybe you are afraid of it suceeding! What is the worst that can happen? What is the best that can happen? Is it worth the risk?

If you have already faced something like this, share with us. We can all learn from you.

The pull to the truth

What keeps us going? What makes us press on even when we can't possibly find the will to do so? k.d. lang's song Constant Cravings comes to mind. It is about that march onward. Most of us are driven to ask the questions about why and how at least once. This is what I call the pull to the truth. What is the truth? Well there is a whole wikipedia page that will tell you there is never a simple answer to anything. (yet there is) Dictionary.com has five meanings for truth. What a complicated answer I seek. Yet it isn't.

To me we all have a pull to our own truth. A need to identify for ourselves what IS and IS NOT. As children we start off looking at other for the truth, but quickly we begin to notice that there is a difference between our truth and those around us. It may cause us to rebel, act out or conform to a way that isn't our true nature. Where do we find our true nature? How do we know it when we find it?

But the pull to the truth exist in each and every one of us. The desire to see our lives, purpose and existence for what it really is. However, the answer is only inside ourselves because the measure of truth for each of us is different and the only way to see that measure is to look at ourselves.

"Actual existence" is one of the definitions on dictionary.com. What is actual existence? Actual is defined as existing now, existence is the continuance in being. So being now. Ahh, so we come full circle back to the new age movement of being in the NOW! Being in the now = the truth. Interesting. So why are we seeking the truth outside the now? The truth is now, here with us at all times. So it turns out the pull to the truth is a pull to the present moment.

Which brings me to my always consistent message of presence. :)

Insightful Inspiration

Be present and you will find the truth you seek.

Trust yourself and you can trust anything

We are finding it hard to trust anything any more. What once seemed certain is no longer and what someone tells us is going on can't be trusted. Gone are the days of being able to trust blindly. You can't look to others for the truth. Is all lost? Are we victims of a society that is gone wrong? Or maybe we are shifting to an age where we no longer look outside of ourselves to find the truth. We are shifting to the only thing we can trust is ourselves. However we don't even trust that! When we are making this shift to having to trust ourselves first we get resentful, angry and blame each other for this shift. We fight it and blame others "damn you, now I have to listen closer to myself next time!"

However, what if you could trust everything outside yourself because you could trust yourself, with 100% certainty, that you are always aligning with your highest good? What if you could see the wisdom of your ways without fear of  mistakes, being taken advantage of, or going down a path you never intended? You can!

When you are in alignment with yourself, listening to your internal wisdom, seeing the beauty of your life from the connected eyes of trusting yourself, you see a world that free. You open up to your experiences because you aren't afraid of them. You experience things to the highest possible level because you trust your judgement of when to stop without second guessing. You engage fully in relationships without fear of misunderstanding another's intentions and getting hurt.

How do I trust myself on this level, you ask? Well, it starts with being willing to try to stop thinking of the concept of self trust is bad! It is the only thing you have, but when you have it, everything else can be trusted too. You have been doing it backwards. Start taking time to tune in and pay attention to your gut.

Insightful Inspiration

Start making a habit to listening to your gut. Start working on the issues that keep you from that trust in yourself. If you aren't trustworthy, why not? If you can't trust you, how can you expect anyone else to and how can you trust anyone else? I am not saying the voices in your head are all correct. But if you start to listen, you can start to tell the difference between what is good guidance and was isn't. This is one of the biggest questions you can ask yourself, can I be trusted? If you can't, time to find out why. Make a change so you can freely live your life without blame of others and without fear of yourself?

The challenges of success

I was listening to  Ted talk by Bill Ford and it got me thinking about the idea of accomplishing what you set out to do. In his talk, he is addressing some of the problems the invention of the car has brought onto the planet. Things are never "done" nothing is ever "perfect" and honestly, sometimes (often) getting what we want creates new problems to address. Bill Ford refers to the need to have "leap thinking" in place for some of the issues around cars. We can't solve some of these issues by just thowing more of the same at it, we have to leap ahead and think of something new. Lets apply this back to your life on a one to one basis. Lets say you set out to get a job. It takes you awhile (given the current conditions) and once you do, you couldn't be happier. Problem solved, right? Wrong, a whole new set of problems arise from having a job. How are you going to schedule in the other things that are needed to be done, how are you going to get your kids where they need to be, where are you going to find the time and money to get the wardrobe you need, etc. The problems created by having the job, could be as many as not. However, you are more willing to deal with those problems because the rewards are there too. It also might be in need of this "leap thinking" that Mr. Ford refers to. You might need to take a whole new approach to how you look at it.

Here is one idea, change the way you think about your challenges. The whole thing is not about solving all of your problems. It is about challenging yourself daily, which happens naturally if you let it, and relishing in the joy of the challenge, not cursing it. It is about taking on the challenges as they come, knowing they are all part of what you wanted to begin with. Going back, it is all part of being able to go where every you want quickly to have issues with roads, traffic, exhaust, etc. Your trade off. What you are always checking in with is, are my trade offs in balance?  (i.e. the world we live in is too sick to sustain us, but we can drive around it) Don't go to sleep about your choices. It is all your choice. You may not think it is, but it is.

If you are succssful, you will have more challenges, this is on purpose. This is part of your growth! Embrace it! When you feel overwhelmed with the challenges you face, come back to it. Trust me it will wait for you and if you address this one, there is always another waiting. Go at these things only when you can with a clear head, a happy heart and an enthusiastic spirit. Otherwise... take a nap and return when you can be there.

Insightful Inspirations of the week

Take this week to reflect on what you perceive to be your latest successes and relate them back to your challenges. See the beauty of them working to bring your balance in your life.  You don't have to know all of the challenges on the other side of accomplishing your goals, in fact there is no way to know until you get there, but the point is, you can go at it, knowing you have the strength and endurance required for the journey. Don't ask "why me?" Use those moments of feeling overwhelmed with challenges, to remind you of your trade offs and where you might want to make adjustments. Have fun!

Why am I surrounded by idiots?

People spend a lot of time in my office asking me "Why do I keep attracting this?!" The interesting part of the law of attraction, etc. is that the more we ask that question, the more opportunities we have to answer it. We attract more and more of the things we find so irritating, until we figure out why it is we find it irritating to begin with. This is a difficult concept for people to get when it comes to the teachings of "the Secret", etc. They want to believe they are a victim of their life, maybe because it is easier than taking full responsibility, maybe because they don't know where to start if they have to think they are in 100% control, or maybe it has something to do with fitting it. What ever the reason people want to reject this idea, is the very reason they Key having these experiences.

Here is an example, one of my clients asks me "Why am I surrounded by idiots? Why is everyone in my world clueless and self absorbed?" This very question is kind of like raising your hand in class. You teacher is going to demonstrate your question, so you get your answer. How do they demonstrate it? Not by giving you the opposite of what you asked, but by giving you a closer look at what you asked, in other words, bringing you more clueless idiots in your life so you can figure out why you are attracting it.

A better question might be simply to ask "Why can't I surround myself with aware, informed people who are capable of thinking beyond themselves?" At lease it is bringing in the subject you truly want. However, it may take a few more idiots to get your attention in order for you to make the shift to attract what you desire.

In other words, the more you ask why you are having a certain experience, the more of those experiences you attract. It is similar said than done, because people ARE their beliefs and it is often hard for them to suddenly see themselves surrounded by a different type of person, when they are so use to be surrounded by what they typically see. That is the other part of the equation I have talked about so much on my blog. That part that says "I want this, but I don't believe I can have it." That part of you that rejects the people you want to attract because you don't believe it can truly exist.

Here is another example. I have a client who has asked for more people who "get" what she is into regarding energy work. Then she attracts those types of people, but she continuously rejects them because she doesn't believe they are truly the ones she has asked for and still must have the "old agenda" even though they say they don't. Her belief system is fighting with her law of attraction. This happens ALL the time. This may sound ridiculous to you, but I bet if you have done any of this law of attraction work and you see yourself not getting what you think you want. It is because you don't 100% believe it can be possessed.

Insightful Inspiration for the week

Use the question "How come this keeps happening to me?" in a different way. Instead of asking from a pity me space, asked if from a classroom space of true curiosity. Ask yourself  that question honestly and opening and see what answers come to you. You will get your answers. Some of them may be answers you don't want to hear, but you have to be willing to hear it. For example maybe you are attracting less intelligent people in your space because you have the desire to feel superior intellectually. You like being the "smartest" and being able to look around and not see anyone comparing to you. You might even like complaining about it. {gasp} :) Never the less, you can make a shift if you want to if you let go of the benefits this thing is secretly providing. Give it a shot!

Frustration!

What is the value of frustration? It is a feeling we have all felt and worked with. On a higher level, what is the purpose of it? Wikipedia has frustration defined as "a common emotional response to opposition." If we disect that a bit, it is basically our response to things around us not being in alignment with where we are. So does that mean we should change or the environment around us needs to change? I 100% believe, based on personal experience as well as working with clients, that when we change ourselves, the environment automatically responds. If we are aware of our inner workings, we will be aware of what our frustration is truly asking for. The difficulty is that frustration is often very distracting from doing anything mindfully, unless you let it. Abraham-Hicks says that everything is about two things, what is wanted and what isn't. What ever you put energy on expands and often when we are frustrated we focus on what is frustrating us, which is what isn't wanted, which causes it to expand. This blogger, http://www.discoveringpeace.com/the-abraham-hicks-emotional-guidance-scale.html, posted the emotional scale leading back to peace, based on Abraham-Hicks' teachings. So if we follow this theory, we focus on the source of frustration, which causes us to feel overwhelmed, which if we focus on what is overwhelming us, causes us to be dissappointed, when we focus on the disappointment, we go into doubt... and so on. We are in a downward spiral until we either hit bottom (Fear) or reverse what we are focusing on.

So lets apply this to a standard struggle... finding a job you love and enjoy. If you are feeling frustrated with the idea that you don't have a job you love and enjoy and you focus on what you don't have, you will slip down this scale. However, if you use this feeling to help you realize what you do want, a job that fulfills you and comes to you easily, then you may at first feel like it isn't possible to have it, but if you still continue to focus on what you want, your pesimissim will fade and you will just begin to be bored with your current situation, which may motivate you to have optimism that if you use that boredom to focus on what you want you can have it. Up that ladder you go! As long as you continue to choose to focus on what you want, you should be able to rise up to what you can feel joy over. To some, this sounds impossible. But let me tell you... this is so true. Difficult to practice some times, because we are trained to focus on what isn't working... but SO true if you consciously choose your path.

Insightful Inspiration of the week

Choose the path to joy. Use your frustration to tell you what you are in opposition about. What are you trying to point out to yourself. If you can work on letting yourself focus on what you want, regardless of the apparent obsticles, you will prove to yourself your own power over your life and well being. Give it a shot and share with me on Facebook what keeps you from being able to follow through with this, we might be able to give you some ideas on what will help you continue to move in the right direction!

Separation

Separation is kind of the key to all things that ail us in these human bodies. We are separate from one another in form and mind but not in spirit and reality. Together we create our reality, but we do so from separate minds and experiences. This provides a ripe learning ground for our souls, but a lot of complicated matters for our perceptions. When we perceive ourselves to be separate we believe that we must fight another for the resources that are available. We believe that we better or worse than someone else. We believe that judgement  of someone else is necessary to gauge ourselves. We believe that our actions don't always affect others if they don't know about it or see it. We believe that as separate beings we are alone, most of the time. I once heard someone say "You are born alone and you die alone, get use to it."

We are, however, very connected in all ways. Our energy entangle together in all things. We know this deep down within ourselves. Most of us as humans learn compassion and empathy, which leads us to connecting with other people's experiences of the world. Most of us forget at times that others do not know the world exactly as we know it and forget to explain things from our point of view, thinking everyone should already know it. Most of us feel the need to connect with at least one other person on a regular basis, in order to feel fulfilled. Most of us are capable of seeing that our actions do affect others and make choices accordingly. We never completely forget our connection either.

When we see each other as reflections of ourselves, we can begin to see we are fragmenting what was once whole, to better understand it. When we can see that the illusion of separate is mearly an experiement in better understanding, we still respect the connections we all have. When we are able to connect to the real dilemas of being separate we can appreciate the true gift of connection.

Insightful Inspiration for the week

Contemplate this idea that you are a separate being from everyone else around your. Your ideas, experiences, perceptions are all your own, shared by no one. Then contemplate all the ways you are connected to others and how others have effects on you ideas, choices, actions, etc.  Take notice where your actions, feelings, etc. have an effect on others. Are there any adjustments you want to make to this perception of connected versus separate? Do you want to balance this perception out one way or another a little more or are you happy with your current believes. Weigh the benefits of both and see how that automatically shifts your idea on the subject.

Challenges! Yippie!

We often find ourselves wishing for life to easier. Dreaming of the day when life is more peaceful, abundance, predictable, etc. But if life were all predictable and easy, wouldn't you be bored? I know... I hear you saying it "I could use a little boredum". But challenges are opprortunities! Opportunities for growth and awareness and better understanding of yourself in the world around you. If you can scream "Yippie!" everytime life threatens a challenge, trust me you will start to feel better. I know you can't expect this from yourself 100% of the time, but give it a try with something small that you have been feeling annoyed about. See how changing the challenge to an opportunity, just in your mind, changes your experience with it.

Insightful Inspiration for the week

What challenges are you wishing you didn't have to deal with this week? Is there a challenge you can change to an opportunity? Look at this issue with new eyes that ask "what can I learn here?" or "What positive thing can I get out of the experience?" Don't lie to yourself and try and fake you love all your challenges. Pick something easy, that you can start to play with a bit. Once you learn that it works, then go bigger and bigge

Snowflakes in your hand

There hasn't been much snow yet this year in Broomfield, Colorado. We are getting a little bit of dusting today, which inspired me to see things in the metaphors that I always see things in. When a snowflake falls into your hand, it is there for just a minute before it melts away. If you hold a snowball in your hand, it may take a bit longer, but eventually it would melt away and you wouldn't be able to hold onto it.

Life is just like this snowflake and all issues you struggle to overcome too. Some issues are like little snowflakes that land on you just for a minute and some are more like snowballs (and may even feel like snow boulders!) and take a bit longer to dissipate and might even make your hands freeze, but eventually do disappear. We all know that this is how life is, yet we some how fret and analyze the issues in our life as if knowing that issue will make it go away or easier to handle. We don't trust the process. We feel that we must do something with that issue that has landed in our laps, when sometimes there is nothing to do but to hold the issue gently and let it melt away.

Insightful Inspirations of the week

Do I sound like a broken record when I say "ease up on the issues of life"?  Well maybe I am just saying it in a new way so you will finally get it. :)

This week, take a pressing issue that is on your mind and just see it, watch it, hold it in your hand. Picture it as a snowflake in your hand. Something you will only get to notice for a minute before it transforms into something else. Bring healing energy, with intention, to this issue and visualize it melting away. Then just wait. See how the issue changes for you over the next couple of days as you let your intentions bring awareness and healing to the tasks at hand.

If you live somewhere, where it doesn't snow... then your second task is to notice what other temporary beauties the earth brings you this message in. A wave, a handful of sand, etc. I would love for you to share that temporary beauty with us.

Does the world know you are into metaphysics?!

This week I had a client ask me about how to work through the fear being projected on her from the outside world about her new methods of embracing metaphysics. It is always a funny concept to me because we often think of our new ideas as strange and unaccetable to the rest of the world. Would you apologize if you were getting more involved in reading the bible or starting a new career? Maybe, if you had a block to it before and it feel strange and unlike the old you. But that is the point isn't it? Not to be the old you, running in circles TRYING to find what makes you happy. You have found a catch and you are going with it. No apologies necessary. Not only that but the people that are around you may reflect the old you that you are shedding. This either means you need new friends or the friends you have will grow with you (not always at the same pace, so be patient). What is doesn't mean is that there is something wrong with you.

If you are establishing new relationships, be it friends or lovers, now is the time to start fresh with the growth. Tell them who you are at this point and time, not who you think they want you to be. That was the old you. The new you is proud of who you are and what you are up to. You don't want to create even more relationships rooted in the false you. It is time to root yourself in YOUR image of you and let the rest of the world take it or leave it. Trust me, there are plenty of people who will gladly take it. It is your gift to give!

Insightful Inspirations of the week

If you feel you aren't safe to fully express who you are, why? What is the worst case scenario? How likely is that scenario? Do you think the real you is unlovable? Do you think the world can't handle the truth of you? What about the concept that the world has a hard time handling all the images you try to pretend are you? The illusions you are projecting of yourself block you off to the fullfillment you want. You can't live the life you want to live if you won't be present to live it. Work with yourself on being more authentic in every situation and make note where you can't. Whether it be a new endevor or something you are just holding onto for a lifetime, work on letting it out. You will be surprised in the gifts it brings.

What's on your mind and body?

Illuminating by Freeman Mester Your body is a chatter box! It is constantly talking to you. I was in an accupunture appointment the other day and my stomach was growling and gurgling and the practitioner said "wouldn't it be nice if we could speak that language and understand what our body is saying." I thought to myself..."Wait a minute! I do speak this language. It is just energy!" So I laid there and I listened. My grumbling tummy told me I ate too fast (which I did, always seem to be running around) and that it wanted me to be more mindful about what I put in my body.

Your body is telling you a lot. Aches and pains are telling you something, what is it? Another thing to notice is that what is on your mind often manifest in your body. This is why we have all of these sayings like "she is a pain in the neck" or "that gets under my skin". Literally our body is affected by our mind and our environment and when something goes amiss, you can figure out what it is just by listening to yourself. If you ignore yourself, you could be up for a long hall back to wellness, so listen early and often! Also notice your thoughts, they are powerful things and can eventually end up somewhere in your body.

You don't have to be an energy healer to listen to yourself. I am currently developing a class on this very topic with a wellness coach. It should be a great experience. But I wanted to get you thinking about this on your own.  Also ready my article this week on Mind, Body, Spirit alignment - why the heck do we care?

Insightful Inspiration for the week

Pay attention to your body. Notice what is coming up for you. What ailments do you have? Write them down and just see if you can relate them to what is going on in your life. Also notice, what thought patterns are playing out with this? What body phrases do you use a lot? Do you refer to things as being a "pain in the neck" or something similar. How is this manifesting in your body? Notice how talkative your body is through out the day. Give thanks to the communication it is giving you, thank goodness it does talk to you! There is a little girl in the news who doesn't feel pain and because she can't hear her body she is always getting hurt and in danger. Click here to read about her.  This is a good thing that you hear your body. Don't take it for granted. Listen closely and take note. You might start to notice you have more control over how you feel than you ever realized.

Good luck! I am wishing you a week full of wellness and good converstations with your body.

Life: Must be present to win

This title on being present has been my latest theme in readings and of course, as always, my biggest lesson. I share with you. This one make sense, but I have to admit, hard for me to do at times.  This concept is about being present or like a drawing, you must be present to win. Now I have talked about being present, more than once. Eckhart Tolle discusses it in the Power of Now and A New Earth, and many other spiritual teachers bring in the concept as well. I agree with all of them, that it is a powerful tool. But most of us don't "get it" just because you told us to be more present.

So here is what is coming up for this... when you make a request from the universe, but keep moving ahead as if the request will not be answered, you miss it. Meaning, if you are always moving, planning, straining to get out of where you are and requesting to get out of where you are... the universe goes to bring you your request where you were, not where you have pulled yourself to now.

Here is an example, lets say you are wishing for the perfect job. You put the request in, and then search and apply for every job you possibly can, even if it isn't perfect. Meaning you don't believe your request for the perfect job is possible, so you keep going as if it isn't. In the mean time, the perfect opportunity just arrived at your door... but you were at an interview for that not so perfect job and missed it.

IF you put in a request... trust that it will come. If you can't trust it, don't blame the universe for not delivering it to you. You gave it the wrong address!

Here is your inspiration. Where have you put in a request to the universe and have given up on having it happen? Go back to that request. Look at why you don't believe it to be possible, and see if you can heal that part first. Then... make the request again and trust. Secondly, be aware of the requests you make and what you do to make it happen. Do you move forward as if it IS going to happen? Making plans, preparing yourself, and expecting the best? Or do you do the opposite and make an alternative plan in case your first plan doesn't come through? We are all afraid to have let down expectations... but sometimes that fear to be disappointed, only brings in more disappointment and blocks us from our dreams.

Dream big, expect the best and plan for your gifts to be delivered.
