Just below your rib cage is a place where your physical energy centers and non-physical energy centers merge. Here lies the energy of worthiness, confidence, and self-assurance. When you anchor your awareness into this spot, it can help you approach things more directly while recognizing energy threats so you can move away from them more quickly.
What Does "Getting Centered" Mean?
It is about creating stability in your energy field and connecting to your inner self.
How to Get Centered
You are connecting with your center to simply move your awareness to a more body-centric awareness.
Start with the awareness of a single point, just below the rib cage, inside your body.
As if you could view the world from here, notice the top of your head, then notice the bottom of your feet.
Begin to notice the energy here becoming a sphere. A central point of which to view the world from a physical and non-physical sense.
Intentionally enhance the feelings of confidence, self-gratitude, and worthiness as you focus on this area.
Pay attention to how your body feels as you center into your body. You might experience feelings of awareness, confidence, and trust.
Other Ways to Get Centered:
Stretch Your Body: Find time to stretch your body in mindful ways, intentionally feeling into parts of the body that feel stuck or rigid. This is why things like yoga can become part of your sacred practice of psychic protection.
Intentional Breathing: You can intentionally work with your breath. One technique is called the box breath. This is simply breathing in, holding your breath, breathing out, holding your breath all to the same count. For example, breathe in for four seconds, hold your breath for four seconds, breathe out for four seconds, and hold your breath for four seconds.

Using your consciousness to better connect with your body helps you be in coherence with your highest frequency, thereby protecting you from lower vibrations.
