Sending love
The guidance I have received of “if you are not contributing love to it, you shouldn't put energy into it” can be challenging for me at times. They mean everything! In this fear-riddled world, with the media, the chaos, the intensity, sometimes love is challenging to offer.
Learning New Skills: 3 Hobbies To Consider (Guest Blog)
School doesn’t end when you stop going to class. We learn new things every day, and there are benefits to that.
The easy way out - or going with the flow?
Nature therapy is amazing for all of us. Doing some nature walks with a four-year-old takes it to a whole new level. I remember taking a nature walk with my four-year-old near a stream. As we were walking, I noticed how the water rushed quickly in spots, slowed in others, and meandered through the trees. I noticed how the stream took the path of least resistance, rather than a straight line of efficiency. I also noticed how open and curious he was, with no agenda.
This is how energy works too. If there is a block, energy flows around the block. This leaves a block, of course, but it keeps moving never-the-the less. When you are flowing you are growing and that is what we all want, right? So this blog is asking you to know yourself to grow yourself, the law of attention.
The way I see it... I'm right and your wrong
Don’t be diminished by those around
Start by not diminishing others around you. Even if they are engaging in the shame, blame and judgment as a way to motivate you, don’t play. Go beyond those techniques of manipulation and control and start lifting yourself and other’s up.
If you struggle to do this, that is okay. Start somewhere. Notice that by just setting the mention to drop the need to be right all of the time, shifts your relationships and your life.
The Healing Studio Story
I started my energy healing business, as an independent contractor at a metaphysical shop nearby, in 2007. It was mostly for fun but as I began to get more experience, I also became more knowledgeable about how energy worked and how we could heal it. I moved out of the metaphysical shop and started to work out of my home, teaching classes in my basement.
By 2014, it was time to expand my business. I was working as many hours as I could, with two young boys to transport around and asking my young boys to be quiet while I held sessions. It no longer seemed fair to the family. So, I looked for an office.
3 Steps To Help Entrepreneurs Harness the Power of Self-Care
As a busy entrepreneur, your time is likely stretched beyond thin. The last thing you want to read is another article explaining why you should be trying to squeeze yet another chore into your already-packed schedule. However, what if that “chore” could make your schedule—and life—substantially less hectic?
Enter self-care. You may not have time for stereotypical self-care activities, such as bubble baths and pedicures, but these suggestions are specifically targeted to help busy entrepreneurs like you decrease stress and increase productivity, creativity, and, ultimately, business success.
Energy Addictions and the Stories We Tell Ourselves
Not only do we tell our stories to others, but the stories we tell ourselves are the ones we can get most duped by. First, because we generally don't share our full stories with others we don't get called out on how false they are. Second, the voice we hear loudest is our own. Whatever the story is we tell ourselves, is the story we believe, defend and create in our lives.
What is "Healing?"
What is healing anyway? Our relationship with the state of being unwell is often so uncomfortable that we can’t accept it. We criticize and blame ourselves and/or our conditions for making us unwell and focus all of our energy on understanding the problem. As we focus on the problem, we expand it. This expansion actually clarifies our desires through the reflection of what we don’t want. Sometimes we get stuck there. So how can we heal?
Taking Responsibility Without Beating Yourself up
Our thoughts are our magic, our intentions are spells cast to make them happen. Everything around you is something you have created. Good or bad...no exceptions. The key is to start taking responsibility for what you have created. Own it, use it for your highest good and the highest good of the planet...see what happens next.
The downside of knowing this is people often beat themselves up for what they are creating. They shame themselves into things instead of embracing the truth about the law of attraction. Shaming uses the law of attraction's power in a way that feels heavy with responsibility and actually blocks desires and manifestations.

Getting “through” It
Anxious feelings are common when you are going through a transition time and your life is changing, even if it is for the better. Our emotions can help us or keep us stuck, depending on what we do with them.
If you use your emotions to inform yourself, you can recognize the negative feelings are about resistance to what is because you are not in alignment with your authentic energy. If you your use emotions to drive a story deeper and reinforce the illusion that everything is happening to you, not with you, you will stay there for awhile until you are sick of yourself and stop resisting.
